Whoa, Did Sons of Anarchy’s Boss Just Reveal One Club Member Who Will …– E! Online

SAMCRO will be down at least one brother by series end. 

Sons of Anarchy‘s final season begins tonight with a special 90-minute episode, and it looks like it’ll be the kickoff of a 13-episode-long funeral. Creator Kurt Sutter is not letting the FX biker drama go softly into the night. No, no. It’s going to a be messy, bloody finish for Jax (Charlie Hunnam) and the club, one filled with casualties.

E! News chatted with executive producer Paris Barclay at the premiere for the final season, where he talked about how “passionate” SOA fans are, especially on social media. “They send me tweets about, like, ‘Please save Juice!’ I’m doing everything I can, but it may be in vain, I have to warn you,” he spilled. 

Wait, what? Did he just tell us Juice is going to die?! Oh yeah, as he then added, “I don’t think you can expect Juice to make it to the end.”

NEWS: What has been SOA‘s most important death so far?

OK, so given the many deaths that have gone down in the previous six seasons, it’s not a total surprise to hear that Juice’s days are most likely numbered, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t hurt.

But Theo Rossi himself did warn us that Sons‘ final season would be a bloody one when we sat down with him at the 2014 Summer TCA Press Tour, and admitted he’s surprised Juice has even lasted this long.

“My answer to that is this: I’m surprised Gemma’s lasted this long. I’m surprised anybody’s lasted this long. The stuff that some of us have to do is crazy, so I don’t know,” he said. “I think the difference with Juice that I’ve always felt is that he never did anything intentionally.”

When we last saw Juice—spoiler alert!—he had just murdered Eli Roosevelt (Rockmond Dunbar) in order to protect Gemma (Katey Sagal) after she had killed her daughter-in-law Tara (Maggie Siff). And when we pick up with him in the premiere, “Juice is kind of a loose cannon,” Rossi previewed, one that Gemma has to look after in order to protect her secret.

“Two people that completely have survival on their mind,” he said of Juice-Gemma’s cat-and-mouse dynamic. “They have the biggest secret between them that’s ever been in this world. It’s a secret that changes the entire dynamic of everything.”

And while it’s hard to imagine things getting worse for Juice in the final season, given everything he’s been through in the past six years, Rossi said viewers can expect to see his situation get “a million times rougher.” 

Sons of Anarchy‘s final season kicks off tonight at 10 p.m. on FX.
